Yes, I spoke with him. When I first spoke with him the voice quality was not so good and he was following the militarized convoy on I-94.

After he got home he said the convoy was all black and the gun vehicles looked like the MRAPs in the photos we were looking at online.

He told me that originally he was pulled over to the side of the road along with all other drivers so that the convoy could pass. That is when he saw all the vehicles and the ones in the middle appeared to be black official cars. So he saw the entire convoy roll by right before his eyes while pulled over on the side of the road.

His report about oil ‘gushing’ came from the owner of KFYR radio. Apparently this person is well-known in the region and picks up a lot of information that the rest of the locals never hear about. The owner’s name was Jerry or Gerry and my partner says people in the region respect him very much. KFYR is said to carry Rush Limbaugh as well as a full hour each day on Bakken oil news in the region.

I told him about feedback from FR and he said he was told the drillers never expected any gushing and for awhile it was out of control. Then the drillers got control of it somehow He was told that eventually federal agents came to the area around the well pads and somehow took over. By ‘took over’ I am not sure what exactly that means.

How interesting the 550 KFYR, owned by the very large nation al Clear Channel Communications, does not have any mention of this on their web site.

Interesting that a nationally owned radio station would not share the news of a Federal Take-over of privately owned producing wells.

Also interesting that there is not a Jerry or Gerry listed as an on-air broadcaster.

Jerry is said to be an owner, not an on air broadcaster. And it is reported he is to have said that no one would hear about it.

But all the above is third party messaging. The observance of the militarized convoy was a direct observation and it was not a branch of the known US armed forces.

Many stations owned by Clear have local ownership partners and affiliates.

If they did, they went completely below the Bakken or Three Forks formation. About twice as deep.

Maybe instead of drilling horizontally they are going past and then back up through the formation several times, like stitchery?
