The Nazis on George Putnam’s show were probably from Tommasi’s group. They would wear brown uniforms and stage demonstrations waving hooked crosses and signs reading, “Communism is Jewish.” They were small in number, but it was said that a lot of high schoolers would tune into their “white power messages” over the phone.

I don’t recall any Nazis calling in to his radio show that ran from 1976 into the 2000’s. His “regulars” usually hailed from the port side of the political spectrum—Leftie Louie, the Documentation Person, Moscow Mary, and so on.
