Do we agree the Constitution is the law of the land? If so, then how do we compromise that which is the law of this land with criminals breaking the law of the land?

We have a war on our hands, and we won’t win it compromising.

IF we continue wringing our hands, and compromising to “limit” the damage then we continue down the road.

RE: Do we agree the Constitution is the law of the land?

WE ( i.e., you and I ) are NOT the problem.

It is the rest of the country that have grown to be DEPENDENT on government that are ( that would include MANY FReepers who are on Medicare ).

As I said, there is what OUGHT TO BE and WHAT CAN BE DONE (the practical).

If you want to return to the constitution, you won’t be able to do it in one big bang ( just as getting to the sorry state we are today was not accomplished with one big bang but gradually ).

So, I am simply saying that AT THIS POINT IN TIME, simply shouting from the rooftops that Medicare and Medicaid are unconstitutional won’t be a winning message.

If you want to slowly wean this country out of government dependency, it has to be done gradually.

Therefore, we repeal Obamacare, and offer a more realistic, acceptable PLAN to replace it. That’s all that can be done now.
