How come it never gets mentioned that prior to this, Bundy (and even his wife) told the media that they had firearms and were prepared to use them?

So, did the Bundys have automatic weapons and dozens of mercenaries, like the Brave Federal Companions? How's about snipers with $10000 Gear kits, including high-dollar sniper rifles, and $30 an hour price tags?
