Long time till election.

She will win a majority of the population centers and all of south Texas, so nobody needs to be counting their chickens yet.
It ain’t over till the fat abortionist squeals.

Republican’s lead across the board in Texas
http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/pdf/2014/PPP_Release_TX_415.pdf
April 15, 2014

PPP’s newest Texas poll finds Republicans leading by double digits in all ofthe state’s major races for 2014. In the Governor’s race Greg Abbott’s at 51 % to 37% for Wendy Davis. Those numbers are largely unchanged from our last poll ofthe state in early November when Abbott had a 50/35 advantage. Davis had a 39/29 favorability rating right after her famous filibuster last June, but since then voters in the state have mostly moved toward having negative opinions about her and now she’s at a 33/47 spread. Davis’ name recognition is actually 12 points higher than Abbott’s, but his reviews break down favorably with 40% having a positive view ofhim to 27% with a negative one.

One thing that may be working to Abbott’s benefit is that for the first time ever in PPP’s Texas polling Rick Perry has a positive approval rating, with 48% ofvoters approving of him to 44% who disapprove. Perry’s net approval has improved 18 points from where it was 2 years ago at this time in the wake ofhis failed Presidential bid, when only 39% of voters gave him good marks with 53% disapproving.

There’s been some thought that Democratic prospects might be better in the race for Lieutenant Governor but Leticia Van de Putte actually trails by slightly more than Davis, regardless ofwho her Republican opponent ends up being. Dan Patrick leads her by 16 points at 51/35 and incumbent David Dewhurst leads her by 18 points at 50/32.

Although it hasn’t really been on anyone’s radar screen the likely US Senate match up between John Cornyn and David Alameel is actually just about as competitive as the state races. Cornyn leads the contest 49/32. Cornyn is not particularly popular, sporting a 31/40 approval rating. That’s largely because Republican voters are pretty tepid toward him-a 46/27 spread-he’s lucky that he got Steve Stockman instead of a more serious challenger in the GOP primary last month.

“It looks like it’s going to be an uphill battle for Democrats in Texas this year,” said Dean Debnam, President ofPublic Policy Polling. “Barack Obama’s approval rating in the state is 36% and that makes life hard for his party’s candidates.”

PPP surveyed 559 registered voters from Apri110th and 13th. The margin of error for the overall survey is +/-4.1 %.80% of interviews for the poll were conducted over the phone with 20% interviewed over the internet to reach respondents who don’t have landline telephones.

The guy on the right has some kind of long stain down the inside of his pant leg and that guy on the far left is really creepy – especially when his Adam's Apple jumps around when he gets excited!

If and when we get the Senate and keep the House in 2014 we should start an immediate investigation on any funding given to ABC, NBC, CNN and other liberal networks. Also they should move to tax the hell our of those networks. We must put them out of business or force equal reporting. These communists networks are working on destroying America.

For the time being most or all MSNBC shows are telling the audience that Dems are creaming Republicans in most races and 2014 will be another 2012.

RE: Even Losing Women

She’w winning among YOUNGER women voters though (those under 35 years of age ).

Does not bode well for the future of Texas.

No matter what, the media likes a winner. If she is not winning they are not going to showcase her. They have not talked about her for months. I believe since 2013 left for the history books.

Abortion Barbie is having trouble?

But her life story of milking a sugar daddy to go to Harvard Law and then dumping him (after dumping her first husband for the sugar daddy) is so compelling.

And losing custody of not only her child from her second marriage, but also having her first child choose her step-father is so empowering!

It’s kind of unfortunate she failed so badly so early.

I hoped she would be a sinkhole for progressive $$$ from across the country.

Nobody wants to ride with a sure loser.

The woman is unstable-an emotional disaster waiting for a trigger-she has already had a couple of meltdowns when she got negative attention, or because she got caught in a lie, or lost a court case. Her handlers can’t keep her shut up once she snaps, so all that needs to be done is to keep the pressure on her without letup...
