Hey nutmeg, Rodamala freepmailed me about a pic I took of your hubby at the '09 national tea party rally we went to. I totally missed your post that that was your hubby! Yep, that's my hubby at the incredible 2009 "9/12" tea party rally! He came up with that "Got Tar - Need Feathers" slogan in our DC hotel just hours before the rally started, lol.
He had to explain to a few maroons along the way that that statement was NOT "racist". Some people got a history lesson that day on what tar and feathers was all about. LOL

Well that’s interesting, I had no idea “tar and feather” could be seen as racist. I’d bet they are confusing it with “tar baby” which is often confused as racist even though it isn’t.
