Beck is just urging caution, and rightfully so.
I see nothign wrong with his statement. Some people on our side ARE just itching for the fight to begin, and it is easy to see why.
This is the libs trying to stir up trouble. The only reason this story is reported is because they think they can paint Beck in a bad light. You fell for it.
I fell for it? I don’t care if you got here in 1937, don’t patronize me, okay?
BTW, this is BECK’S website doing the “reporting” on his statement, Einstein!
It’s not just this story, Beck has discredited himself many times.
Yes, I agree with him on all points, but one: He and Pat kept saying we have representation. But that is just the problem. We don’t. There are some promising prospects out there for the mid-terms, but I am not convinced it’s enough to turn the tides. I have been hearing that we have term limits at the ballot box for decades. It’s not worked out so well for us. I am not saying it is time for CWII. But trying to do this through our system has not worked out so well. I mean, look where we are now, folks. Just look.
The thing is, none of us get to choose the breaking point. It’s called ‘the straw that broke the camel’s back.’ Wars have started of incidents that are much more stupid than this.
We’ve got Klamath Falls, the Tombstone water pipe, the Sagebrush Rebellion, the stupid spotted owl that nearly shut down the logging industry, Oregon’s water-grab (from even rain barrels), and so much more. Add to that Reid’s cronyism and abuse of power and we’re getting fed up. Yes, Bundy is breaking the law, but (in all these cases) the law is acting like an ass.
I know that Beck and the other pundits would love a perfectly saintly posterboy to act as the match for the bonfire. I know that nobody wants this to come to bloodshed (alright, there are quite a few who want it to come to that, but they’re frustrated people who’ve gone over the edge because they don’t see us getting out of the tyranny within the rigged system and aren’t really thinking about the serious damage that an armed conflict will do).
But none of us get to pick the breaking point.
So, our country is not worth fighting for? We should remain passive?
Erica Ritz, the writer, is the assistant editor of the Blaze, which is owned by Beck.
Why would she dis her own boss?
So who fell for what? Next time you decide to jump to conclusions you might want to put on a parachute........
Beck puts himself in a bad light, no need to report it.
