Who has kept conservatives from entering the halls of academia as teachers/professors? If many of them persisted in that endeavor, eventually a balance could be met and students would benefit from various points of view that they are being deprived of now.

Actually, I strongly believe teachers are paid to teach subjects they are hired to teach; their personal opinions have no room in a classroom.
