I sure hope, that along with the folks gathering to protect Bundy’s ranch, that there is also a mighty gathering of some high-powered lawyers willing to donate some time to this crisis, because that is what the situation needs more than anything else right now, today. Briefs, not bullets.

In 1996, Nevada had a ballot measure to throw the feds off the land in Nevada. Did it pass? If it did pass the state legislature, was sent to Congress? If it was sent to Congress then can the land ownership matter be considered in litigation?? If it didn’t pass, how fast can the people of the state move, and move now, to pass the thing? If it did pass but wasn’t sent to Congress, how fast can they get it to DC?

and the last little question I have is, if Nevada gave up their land to the feds in 1864 as part of statehood, and the Feds pealed off part of Mohave County, Territory of Arizona, to give to Nevada in 1866, is that land, which is the current Clark county, was that land to Nevada free and clear and how do we go about finding the Federal 1866 documents?

there’s got to be something we can do besides escallate. There’s got to be a federal judge somewhere who can issue some stays or something. Where is Judge Jones?

Chief Judge Robert C. Jones of the Federal District Court of Nevada issued a blistering decision that charged officials of the BLM and other agencies with malicious and criminal conduct, and actually engaging in a decades-long “conspiracy” against the Hages.

Judge Jones said he found that “the government and the agents of the government in that locale, sometime in the ’70s and ’80s, entered into a conspiracy, a literal, intentional conspiracy, to deprive the Hages of not only their permit grazing rights, for whatever reason, but also to deprive them of their vested property rights under the takings clause, and I find that that’s a sufficient basis to hold that there is irreparable harm if I don’t ... restrain the government from continuing in that conduct.”

We appreciate any help you can provide.

However, the Federales have their Judge and their court order. They intend to enforce it at the barrel of a gun.

After the bloodshed, please continue the legal process.

If the goal is for the totalitarian State to take resistance seriously, briefs are toothless.

Too late, on both sides. This is a long time brewing, and I don't just mean the Bundy situation.
