Do these awards really mean anything?
They mean anyone who gets one is a good little comrade.
Really.
No. Margaret Fuller. Look her up.

ERG! My bad! I apologize about that. I saw "Margaret" and just read "Sanger."
The music price really did go to a musical piece that aimed to recreate "global warming," however.
James O’keefe deserves this more than anyone in the MSM!
I had not heard of the cartoonist who won (Kevin Siers)...found some of his work online and it seems to be consistently anti-Republican. No surprise there. Anti-Bush, anti-Cheney, anti-Palin, anti-Romney, anti-GOP in general. Artwork resembles David Horsey's.
Absolutely nothing else going on to warrant in-depth reporting greater than these subjects.
The prize for fiction has been spotty the last few years. The last great winner was Cormack McCarthy’s The Road. I have not read Goldfinch this years winner. They didn’t give one in 2012.
