You talk about private property—138 cattle are already missing or presumed dead, many calves without mothers, if you run the family into bankruptcy the land is up for sale. Who do you think will buy it?

All “legal”.

And the fed doesn’t care much about private property these days.

I suspect the land has already been paid for by some kind of Federal promissory note to pay off the money debt held by China.

That will be part of the settlement or court decision that comes out of this. Killing cattle on the open range is a time honored BLM tradition. The taxpayer usually pays. Invading a mans domicile and harming humans is a different critter.
