September 2012 Independent Investigation Report Prepared by the Honorable Antoni Macierewicz, Chairman, Polish Parliamentary Group For the Investigation of the Causes of the Crash of the TU-154M Aircraft on April 10, 2010 in Russia.
Introduction
One of the most important questions being asked by Polish citizens today concerns the events of the morning of April 10, 2010 at the Smolensk airport in Russia, and what role in these events was played by the Russian government, and the Polish government of Prime Minister Donald Tusk. Today, after twenty-eight months since these tragic events took place, we are presenting you with the basic facts and hypothesis gathered and formulated by the Parliamentary Group for the Investigation of the TU-154 Airplane Crash on April 10, 2010. We are now half-way there. We already know, that without the collaboration of Prime Minister Tusk with Vladimir Putin, and without the separation of the visits to Katyn - this tragedy would not have happened. We know that the “Miller Report” is as falsified as is the Anodinas [MAK] report. At last, we know, that one hypothesis explaining the chain of events is that the disintegration of the aircraft was caused by explosions in the air, due to the involvement of third parties. But even today, we have not yet gathered the necessary evidence in order to point to all those who were guilty. The published material is not yet a complete report, but rather, it shows and organizes facts and hypotheses that have been thus far ascertained. We hope that by the fall of 2012 we’ll be able to present the final findings concerning the technical aspects of the Smolensk crash, and within a year, at the most, our final report will be ready.
Cut from the same cloth, Putin probably gained about as much as Stalin gained from the 1939 Katyn massacre.
I don’t know if the Russians did it or not but putting that much of the government on one plane pretty much justifies about two-thirds of the “Polock” jokes I’ve ever heard. And since I have lots of “Hunkie” inlaws and outlaws who seem to collect them for telling at family reunions I’ve heard a ton of them.
It was a tragedy... and it was simple pilot error. The biggest cause of aviation disasters is human inattention and neglect. It happens.
Nothing sinister, conspiratorial or criminal happened in Smolensk.
But then again, that's example of inattention and neglect compounding a disaster.
Don’t forget it was a very cloudy day and I’m not surprised the pilots missed the runway.
I’ve done driving in thick fog and if you don’t pay attention, you’re liable to have an accident. Especially if there is zero visibility.
Even the most experienced people in the world don’t always exercise keen judgment in extreme conditions. But mix bad weather AND human error and the result is catastrophe.
yes ... and the so-called murder of survivors was all bogus as well and exposed as such years ago. I saw the co-called video evidence and was not convinced. There was nothing there except pops of items blowing up in the fiery wreckage. There are easier and less suspicious ways to assassinate people that do not involve massive airplane conspiracies.
Was it for sure a bomb?I remember reports of the shooting of survivors.
And the polish version of free republic would be all over them for spending so much on travel.
Actually I heard a report that initially the Polish government officials were going to take more than one plane to Smolensk Russia.....but that there was some kind of last minute issue that came up. I think it might have been an issue with the second plane or more planes that they would use. For the record, the plane that crashed had a “maintenance check up” with a Russian crew just a few months before the crash. In my opinion, I think they should have had their planes maintained by anybody, but the Russians.
As for you talking about supposed mistakes that Poles make to “justify” so called “Pollock” jokes against Polish people...that’s just sad. For the record these subhuman intelligence jokes against Polish people (renamed as “Polish jokes” by Hollywood and NBC-TV in the 1960’s) originated from WWII anti-Polish propaganda. Google “subhuman intelligence jokes” to see how anti-Polish jokes came about.
Within MINUTES after this crash.....Russia was saying how the cause of the plane crash was “pilot error”.
That in and of itself is suspicious, since the cause of any plane crash is only determined after a lengthy investigation.
But the reason why Russia was so quick to report to the world media that it crashed because of “pilot error” was to create a BIG LIE like media environment among the world media, that took Russia at its word. Basically in a BIG LIE you repeat something over and over and over and then have others echo it so that it appears to be “true”. This was disgusting.
I highly doubt it was pilot error since Polish Pilots have been historically some of the best pilots in the world.....like in WWII in the “Battle of Britain”.
Polish Squadrons including...Polish Squadron 303....made up 9% of the Allied forces in the Battle of Britain.....yet shot down 32% of the Nazi German enemy planes. The Polish Squadrons had a proportionally higher destruction rate of German planes than any other Allied force in the Battle of Britain. Google “Squadron 303”.
So no I don’t believe the Russians when they say the fault of this crash was “pilot error”.
Has anyone ever heard a voice recorder? It leaves no room for conspiracy.
Yes airplane voice recorders and black boxes are good for showing what happened inside an airplane.
So its quite peculiar that Russia won’t return these to Poland, as well as the rest of the plane.
Its been 4 years now that the Russians have been keeping the wreckage of the plane. You would think by now they would have returned everything.
If it was the other way around and a Russian plane crashed in Poland (or Ukraine, or any other nation)with its Russian officials....the Russians would be threatening war if that nation refused after 4 months....let alone 4 YEARS..... to give back the wreckage of their crashed plane.
