In my Sunday paper the good old Ay & Pee grocery news service (Associated Pimps) has a front page article on higher beef prices (”good news for ranchers”) and it continues just below a USA Today article `Feds end cattle roundup in Nevada’.
The dying fish-wrap media trying to ratchet up animus against the Bundys, as usual a day or two after the dust has settled, from the BLM’s `cattle gather’?
The USA Today article repeats BLM’s Neil Kornze’s lame arguments while simply stating that Bundy “refused to pay fees for the right to graze.”
If you’ve seen that land—desert brush—anyone charging a guy to graze on it should be ashamed. It reminds me of a saying about Texas Longhorns: `After butchering, a pile of horns, bones and hooves, and a bag of jerky.’
In other news, press secretary Jay Carney states that FLOTUS `Moochie’ dropped by his house this morning ... and “ate every scrap”.
“She was like a swarm of locusts ... we’re off the record, right? Anyway, I had to grab my kids ... “
In late 2008 and coming into 2009 when all the bailouts were being handed out by Obama and the stimulus was in full swing, the media especially newspapers came with hands extended and palms up asking for a handout. At that moment the AP media which is mostly print media was for sale to the highest bidder and I believe the stimulus bought them somehow.
To this day I know of no accurate accounting for stimulus dollars but one thing is for sure I have never seem the media so owned by one president as they are under Obama.
If the BLM were enforcing a court order as they claimed to remove trespassing cattle by order of a Federal judge, the U.S. Marshall’s Service would have been the primary enforcement arm and Bundy would have been officially served with cease and decist order by a Marshal before the BLM round up began. The Federal courts are pretty consistent with their actions.
