Bush draws boos from conservatives

A mention of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R), a potential 2016 presidential contender, brought boos from a conservative crowd in New Hampshire on Saturday.

Speaking at the New Hampshire Freedom Summit, a gathering of conservative activists and figures organized by Americans for Prosperity and Citizens United, billionaire Donald Trump said Bush’s recent comments on immigrants coming to the U.S. as an “act of love” were “out there.”

“You know, I heard Jeb Bush the other day,” he said, with quiet boos and angry murmurs erupting from the crowd at the mention of Bush’s name.

What hateful, repulsive, offensive and false nonsense you peddle.

It's a shame that party affiliation blinds so many people (on both sides) to the fact that there wasn't all that much difference between Bush and most Democrats.

Under his watch, we got TARP, No Child Left Behind, a push to give illegal immigrants amnesty, increased subsidies for prescription drugs, a VP who told us that "deficits don't matter", and a whole host of other things that would have you scream bloody murder if they happened under a Democrat's watch.

Now that the RNC is about to coronate another Bush, I suppose the party faithful will be making excuses for Jeb too.

But they are still liked in TX, which gave George P. some 74 percent in the 2014 primary for land commissioner.

George P. can play both the Bush card and the Hispanic card to get ahead. Other than his name, I fail to see what else qualifies him for land commissioner or even dog-catcher.

Bushes and Clintons are two sides of the same coin.

And now they are going to hedge their bets by giving us another “Bush vs Clinton” choice. Heads they win, Tails we lose.

Talk about an oxymoron... Conservative New Hampshire?

I call BS... The rest of the freaking country needs to completely IGNORE IOWA & New Hampshire...

I’m tired of working my a$$ off here in the South to see everyone fawn over the idiots in these 2 states...

Enough...

“Now let’s hear your choice of a candidate for 2016 who will be able to raise the money needed while still satisfying your pure convictions......”

You honestly can’t think of any possibilities on your own better than jeb? Oh wait, you’re just looking at raising money as the lead criteria.

He was an accomplish in the murder of Teri Schiavo. He could have stepped in and stopped it. He didn’t.

Your post is just as inaccurate and hyperbolic as the one you disdain

Bush was a decent guy but deeply lacking as a conservative

Bush, the Ted Kennedy communist retard of the family. why do all these families insist on inbreeding with their retards? Reagan at least shoved his daughter out after her stinkstint with Hefner.

Gerald Ford’s the man. He’ll excite the party and get out the vote.
It’s George H. W. Bush’s turn.
Bob Dole - that’s the ticket!
We need John McCain because he knows how to compromise.
Mitt Romney will bring us stability and, um, stability.
Jeb!

Is there a pattern here?

The MSM can always record the speech and add canned cheers to it, just like they did with Hillary in Albany NY 2000.

We love republicans. It's these people calling themselves Republicans that don't really give a rat's ass about the republic we hate.
