BUNKERVILLE, Nevada (Reuters) - U.S. officials ended a stand-off with hundreds of armed protesters in the Nevada desert on Saturday, calling off the government's roundup of cattle it said were illegally grazing on federal land and giving about 300 animals back to the rancher who owned them.
The dispute less than 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas between rancher Cliven Bundy and the U.S. Bureau of Land Management had simmered for days. Bundy had stopped paying fees for grazing his cattle on the government land and officials said he had ignored court orders.
Anti-government groups, right-wing politicians and gun-rights activists camped around Bundy's ranch to support him in a standoff that tapped into long-simmering anger in Nevada and other Western states, where vast tracts of land are owned and governed by federal agencies.

Rustler Reid too...
MooseShell needs to get a BLM grazing license for her resource grabbing on Public Lands at the White House.
Im told that the State of Nevada has 82 % of its land under Federal Control.
What is the % of that 82 % in under the control the Federal Bureau of Feudal Land Management for “re-distribution” to Commune-orgaanized Obamanation?
Maybe Nevada Feudal Lord Reid, or his Commie Son might know - - - ?
Google, though evil, is your friend...
Yeah .... “Right wing politicians” ... Gee, do ya think that reporter would demonstrate little bias if the story were about a situation that drew out “left wing politicians”? Would he use that phrase? I doubt it.
Too soon old, too late smart...
Anyone should be proud to be described so.
The politicos and government mobsters were all watching this closely...
They must have totally shuttered at the thought of their overpaid BLM hired guns starting a shoot war up there with a bunch of armed Americans, complete with a flag waving color guard on horse back...
It's NEVER over...
Obviously not a spur of the moment decision by BLM to take Bundy’s cattle. Did not quite work out way BLM planned.

Rustler Reid.
Remember this.
There is no mention of Harry Reid and his wanting to clear the land of cattle so that he and his son can proceed ...

Another FR thread a few days ago stated the land for the solar project was valued around $38 million, but the Reid-China project would get it for less than $6 million.
If there are still any true investigative reporters out there, they should dig into the details and disclose the Reids for the criminals they are and have been for years.
This hack looks like a terrorist. Why does he cover his face?
Is he afraid a few militia men would find out his Idenity?
What a coward.
Center for Biological Diversity - meet the Staff
These are the folks that were pushing this event.
Looks like an even split between starry eyed co-eds who love cute & furry little bunnies & polar bears and a bunch of lawyers out to "make a difference.
Not a lot of "diversity" on their staff. Most appear to be the children of rich white honkies.
That's just my non-diverse, bigoted opinion.
USA - Second Amendment (Bills of Right) -
A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed
Until the crowd got really big...
When they gave them a deadline to release their cattle or else they'd come get them...I bet it got real quiet in camp fed.
Hopefully the local Sheriff was telling the Federales, "What the ***k are you people trying to do here"?
It would be informative to see just how many Nevada ranchers have been driven off their land by the BLM - EPA.

The Bundys have stated several times that they are the last remaining ranch in the area, because over FIFTY neighboring ranches were forced out.
I've had chats with NPS Rangers on the subject on a few occasions (a ranger happened to be teaching a first course I was attending a few years ago, another time I happened to bump into a ranger when hiking in a national park). In theory, their main task is prevent marijuana farmers from setting up shop in the national parks.
Supposedly they're pretty well trained.
