I don’t think they were photoshopped. Carney and Shipman met in Moscow. I am sure they regard the posters sentimentally—sort of like “our song”—”the song they were playing the first time we danced.”

Those posters are like the kind found in souvenir
sets sold at all Russian tourist cities. My friend
went to Leningrad and brought me a set.

My question is how many of us have a lectern
WITH a microphone in our libraries?

I find it hard to believe the Dems would let their spokesguy do a photoshoot with Soviet art hanging in his living room. It’d be like doing an Obama shoot with Koranic verses hanging on the wall. I think they’re messing with us. But the fact that they met in Moscow is an interesting point. If the posters are real then that’s what whould be causing a buzz, not the fingers and books.
