BLM can easily change laws faster than people can find out about them. How many cows did the feds shoot?

Great news.

Nothing has been won.
They have stolen much of his cattle, and taken the land he was using.
They will be back for the rest in the middle of the night one day.. once the pressure has died down.

Didn't take long after the link with Reid and the Chicoms was publicized for this to 'go away'.

I guess the revelation that HReid was involved made them back off (it’s the only new tidbit that popped out in the last 24 hrs)
although... has the airspace been reopened?

So, shortly after the video was released, the feds retreat. What a surprise.

This ain’t over. As I stated on another thread, the demand that the BLM relinquish their weapons was silly and was not met, and never will be. Now they’re going to release the cattle from what Bundy just said.

It’s a long way from over. Did Bundy get a count on dead cows and calves, yet? The JBTs will be back; count on it.

Bundy should pay money if his cattle is grazing on government land.
Bundy doesn’t own the land.

Bundy claims his herd of roughly 900 cattle have grazed on the land along the riverbed near Bunkerville, 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas, since 1870.Those cattle have been grazing since 1870? Man, talk about aged beef!
To: Red Steel
Bunkerville. Sort of rhymes with Bunker Hill, doncha think?

I don’t trust the BLM, they will pull back, wait 2 or 3 weeks and arrest Bundy when is alone and without backup.

Did you read the comments after the story? I think ABC deliberately posted all those irrelevant comments about the ads in order to push the substantive comments off the first page. This really ticks me off!

There are hundreds of ranchers who own a small amounts of acreage next to public land that they use for grazing, so I doubt this will be the only incident of its kind. Big government means big control, even when it is pointless. The grassland that is open for grazing is probably heartier and more resistant to diseases than the adjoining land that isn’t. The wildlife on the land that is grazed is most likely healthier and more numerous.
