I supported my wife while she raised our family instead of some nameless, faceless, dipshit daycare worker who doesn't give a crap about my kids...I also treat her like a queen...because being at home mom is way tougher than working a job...
I can guarantee you I'm no sucker...

"She just wants some sucker to support her financially, AND treat her like some kind of “goddess.”" Well, that's traditional marriage, though, isn't it? The wife stays home while the husband works outside the home. Ideally she is treated like a goddess, and he is treated like a king.
I hope for your sake you get to experience that latter part one day (my husband seems to like it). But somehow I have my doubts that you will.
