If women are not going for that style/fashion, we're screwed. I went to the Celtics game last night. Hadn't been in years. We have cheerleaders now who wear bikinis. Besides doing gymnastics, they also do spread-legged, pelvic thrusts to ear-splitting rap music. I said to my friend, "remember when that kind of thing was reserved to 'The Pussycat Lounge?'"

Not to hijack this thread, but what is it with ear-splitting music at sporting events in general? It’s even happening at baseball games. Part of the point of going to a game is so you can talk with your friends, business guests, etc. If every bit of downtime is filled with ear-splitting obnoxiousness, it certainly reduces the desire to go for me.

We now live in a society that is officially and practically pagan. It's really been that way for perhaps 50 years, but there was a vestigial veneer of Christianity that took a while to wear off. It remains to be seen whether this neo-paganism will replicate former paganisms in all their violence and debauchery. The Nazi experience says, "Don't bet against it."

And how long will it take for "Game of Thrones" sexual behavior to come off the TV screen and into the streets and arenas? Maybe not as long as we think - "progressivism" certainly has no moral criteria by which it can say "enough is enough."

My son played HS basketball 15 years ago and I was stupified to find the same crap back then - in a HS no less.
