I was going to send this story to some old friends about my visit there this afternoon. Everyone attending that peaceful gathering was just the salt of the earth:

It was a pleasantly warm and partly cloudy afternoon in Bunkerville, Nevada this Friday. About hundred and fifty to two hundred patriots comprising many different backgrounds but united in common cause and interest were gathered just two miles from the Bundy Ranch. They formed a peaceful but not a passive community concerned about the safety of Cliven Bundy, his family, and the future of their Country and its freedoms. The West they live in is beautiful in its expanse and somehow anyone with just a smattering of discernment can’t help but see that this place is very special indeed.
There are legal, environmental, economic and governmental issues all intertwined in this story. However, many of people I talked to have an overriding concern with a federal government that is taking into it self the power to control the where of where Americans can live, the how of how they gain their subsistence, and even the what of what they think and believe.
Many people have expressed the hope on both radio and television that fighting will not occur between the BLM and the citizens supporting the Bundy family. It is my observation that only a violent provocation upon the Bundy family or their supporters by the BLM-Feds would cause fighting to ensue. The citizens here have the means and will to fight to the death. I believe many think they have nothing to lose and much to regain. Again I stress that the patriots here are calm and peaceful but determined all the same.
