WASHINGTON — A House committee is voting on whether to hold a former Internal Revenue Service official in contempt of Congress for refusing to answer questions at a pair of hearings.

Breaking News ... Lerner is in Contempt. According to Representative Lynch. Vote has been already held undoubtly behind closed doors though continues to defend Lerner.

Now he’s on about the denial of the extension. Chairman has bungled. We won’t be able to get to the truth through this committee. (not exact quote)

Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming (R): Lerner has already lied to this committee. The protector (IRS) has become the one to be protected from. A nice defense of the committee.
