I don't want to 'sustain' their work.

It seems that one of the open source browsers is the best bet at the moment, including Pale Moon.

So you ask for a new tab, and it shows ads in there until you select a bookmark or enter a URL?

I’d want a quid pro quo.

The chairwoman of Mozilla Foundation,... last week defended the decision to pursue in-browser ads...

OK... How about attempting to defend your INTOLERANT decision to bow down to the homosexual gestapo and force your CEO to resign instead?

You know, the topic of which the current firestorm is burning its way throughout the internet so fiercely is about -but you still refuse to acknowledge?

How about defending your position that the intolerant 2% of individuals in this country who make up the gay mafia are somehow more relevant to your organization than the personal opinions of the other 98% of the populace who lead normal lives and do not appreciate or accept being forced out of a job simply because of their personal beliefs?

Or is that too insignificant a point to consider?

Revenue for Mozilla today comes largely from the open-source browser vendor’s partnership with Google. Whenever a user does a Google search through the main Firefox home screen, Google pays Mozilla. In 2012, Mozilla reported that it generated $311 million in revenue. - Source: http://www.eweek.com/enterprise-apps/is-mozilla-selling-ads-in-firefox.html#sthash.tWfvpEbR.dpuf

Well, that’ll be it for me for new versions of firefox, then. Actually, I find version 21 to work better anyway than later versions which keep crashing a few times a day. Not to mention they’ve never fixed the plethora of memory leaks that make the damn thing nearly unusable after opening and closing a few dozen web pages, but instead keep concentrating on adding more and more useless bells and whistles, which I guess are more fun to code than the drudgery of rewriting the whole core of the thing from scratch to fix the crippling memory leaks.

""Pretty much anytime we talk about revenue at Mozilla people get suspicious," she said. "Mozillians get suspicious, and our supporters get suspicious.

Then again, some of us are perfectly happy to see Mozilla become less dependent on Google, but we lack the leftist ideologically purity required to be either Mozillans or supporters.

It's a shame. I liked Mozilla Firefox, but I hate liberal fascism. Thanks to Mitchell Baker and her supporters, Firefox has become the official browser of liberal fascists.

Run all the ads you want, Mr. Mitch. I won’t be seeing them.
