Just the wording "House Ways and Means Committee Republicans aren't ruling out the use of the chamber's "inherent contempt" authority..." is weak...if the "HMAWC" are going to rely on Holder to do the right thing (arrest and try her) they are whistling in the dark.....(they have the authority!)...Ms. Lerner needs to be the first in this administrations list of criminals against the American people arrested and jailed.

You don't need the cloak room: I understand the Capitol has its own nifty little JAIL. Seems to me the best thing to do is call Lerner back for another House inquiry, and if she still refuses to testify, call in the Honorable Paul D. Irving, the Sergeant at Arms of the U.S. House of Representatives, and a couple Capitol police officers, have them take her into custody for implicit contempt, and then immediately perp walk her to the Capitol jail. She could be held there until the next Congress is seated (next January).

I'd love to see what Eric Holder would do next....

Holder is a coward . . . and a race pimp.

Holder hides behind his race in the belief that his “blackness” will make him immune from a dispute of anything he chooses to say. Democrats, generally, use this same strategy for the same purpose. The political technique is specially attractive to minorities and women.

It seems entirely reasonable to recall her pension since she clearly wasn’t performing the proscribed duties of her job sescription for quite some time. I wonder if she’s had performance reviews along the way?

Eric WithHolder will not prosecute IRS Gangster Lois Lerner, of course, and even if he did, Barack Al-Obama would likely pardon her for her Federal crimes. But, can she be prosecuted in any STATE courts??

There appears to be no "jail" in the Capitol.

If it ever did come to pass, Lerner being arrested for contempt of Congress, she would probably be held in the holding cell over at the Capitol police department that Congress has.
