There is some good indications that the Repub establishment knew this was happening and ignored it. They do NOT think of the Teaparty as their friends. If you think anything else you are deluding yourself.
The Democrats obviously see the Tea Party and Conservatives as their biggest threat. Why doesn’t the GOP?
