The rise of the left in California politics has doomed that state period.

Anyone who remains in California is insane. There are a few exceptions, of course, but the time to flee California in abject horror is upon you.

Techies deserve it. Many vote for clean energy and drove out blue collar jobs in “dirty” industries. In place of it they develop high tech which employs far less people then “dirty” industry. Few high paying techies are unable to help local economies. Instead it creates small enclaves of ritzy coffee shops and restuarants and high price hip stores while everyone else is locked out of the star trek like jobs and facilities. Contrast that with gas and oil fracking. Large number of good paying jobs hire large numbers of blue collar workers as well as tech/engineers The aggregate impact of this large well paid work force is translated into the local economies. Look at the states/localities that frack. Economy is booming and employment is high. Look at the states/localities that have only high tech (software, biotech, nanotech, etc etc etc). You see small enclave of wealth while everyone is poor. Worst many of these high paying techies believe in outlawing fracking, amnesty for illegal immigration, and more guest tech workers and vote for Dems. Result is more poor people and competition for American jobs and high unemployment. Now the Dem poor are attacking the Dem high paying cool tech hipster. Love it Love it. If GOP is smart, say nothing and let them kill each other.

I'm sure these pretend anarchists planned their attacks in Starbucks or MacDonald's using iPhones to coordinate activities. Idiots

Why use an eight letter hyphenated polysyllabic word when a six letter monosyllabic word in common use?

Anti-tech is just the Greens.

The end of that road is the same end as in 1979, and of necessity must pass through the same scenery.

I wonder how long it will take those Silicon Valley types to figure out that the Left is NOT their friend....

The flyer claims to speak for the service workers who “serve them coffee, deliver them food, suck their c***s [?], watch their kids, and mop their floors”

Sounds like it's actually speaking for Congressional aides. :)

Wait. Aren't these "service workers" illegal aliens? Don't the Left want more of them in this country? And then they complain when they take "jobs Americans 'won't' do"?

Short version:
'Whaaa - I want what Johnny has'...

I suppose this 'covetousness' act is ingrained in us and has been going on since the beginning. Eve and Adam coveted to be 'like God' - and they bought the Devil's lie. Cain coveted Abel's acceptance (although Abel brought an acceptable sacrifice - whereas Cain wanted to do it his way and could not accept that it did not garner the same merit as the right way).

And now we have people who were not willing to do the work in school (or perhaps were not capable) complaining about people who are successful - and demanding that they get an unearned piece of the pie. Human nature remains the same.

Being a Luddite has always been part of the left...high tech displaces the workers...high tech mental labor pays for more the low tech manual labor...

So now Luddite thinking, natural ingrained in the leftist world view is finally turning on their leftie techie fellow travelers who failed to see they are the new bourgeoisie?

The silly fools didn’t think that Rage Against the Machine meant Rage Against the Machine?...ie computers and those that create and run them

Just because someone is lazy, stupid and greedy doesn’t mean they don’t want to live in a nice place.

If you want get rid of the smelly mob occupiers throw soap and job applications at them. I put a “now hiring” sign in the window of my shop. It’s like holy water to vampires.

Techies deserve it.
We do, do we?

Here in Georgia we call it "gentrification" and "technological advancement", both of which are prime components of true fiscal conservatism. I'm sorry that my tech work is making you unhappy, but I'm helping to create the future based on the "Work smart, not hard." principle. Maximum gain for minimum effort.

What I detect in your screed is a lot of what the liberals call "class envy". It doesn't sit well. Might want to think about that.

I have no problems with tech work, but too many techies vote Dem and believe exclusively in green energy and would do everything possible to kill off fossil fuels. Result is no new power plants, no new refineries, no new pipelines, and sell BS to American people that they can rest their entire future on high tech. How is high tech model working vs states that have ALL types of industries. Conservative!!! BS You would be the first to have H-1B workers and not employ American college grads (unless they fit the hip image your high tech company wants). In the past American grads were hired for the school they went to and their grade point average. Now high tech companies hire H-1B and reserve a few slots for American grads that fit the hip image. Hey fracking hire men and women that have experience, skills and even break in new people. They hire lots of them while techies lobby government to kill fossil fuel industries because they are dirty and do not fit their view of utopia. Here is the biggest irony, pro Dem hi techies are being beaten over the head by the pro Dem poor. LOL. I love it. As a blue collar conservative (Pat Buchanan and Ross Perot) free trade traitors and globalists will have their justice for killing off the blue collar middle class. There is no one left to keep the angry poor from strangling the clueless rich, in the past that was the job of the middle class. Guess what rich gentry, there is no one left in the middle class to protect you. Maybe you techies can hire some illegal immigrant Mexicans to weld on more armor plates for those private commuter coach buses you ride to work in. At least in Latin America the rich had armed guards riding in armor limo convoy, oops I forgot, rich techies hate guns, that is too violent. Oh well, I guess armor plates will have to do.
