Whenever anyone mentions “the greatest hitter in the game,” I’m with you. Ted Williams comes to mind.

And I’m a Yankee fan.

Teddy Ballgame gets my vote too. Heck he missed almost five years of prime playing time flying combat missions in WW II and Korea.
