I've made that trip a hundred times and I thought the sign said 857 miles to El Paso.

I remember it being almost 1000 miles. Any other FReepers can settle this?

can't say precisely, but blam is much closer to correct than you are

what i do remember precisely is driving from houston to san diego, when i got to el paso i was halfway there
