Well, I won’t miss them if they cave. I can’t stand that they are one of two fast food places (Wendy’s is the other) that is so cheap and chintzy that they don’t have fountain drinks. Your drink is a cup of 90% ice and three ounces of the actual drink, unless you beg them for no ice. Hate that!
You need to talk to your Wendy's franchise owner. Here, Wendy's has the Coke Freestyle machines with 384 flavors or whatever it is. Total customer control.
