Didn’t the British shoot people out of cannons (maybe it was tried to a cannon) after the Sepoy Mutiny?
Also, as I recall, the British invented Pitchcapping.
I believe they lined them up in a line, on behind the next, in front of the canon. They also had folks hug the canon. The Brits were not the nice, cheery folk we’ve turned them into. They were brutal and ruthless.
