Hey, that could become the FReeper Putinista anthem. As you know, Putin reinstated that anthem - The International. Since so many pro-Putin FReepers want to act like the old left applauding and cheering on Putin and his self-aggrandizement the way the old left did Lenin and Stalin, they might as well go whole hog. Putin went from being a KGB Colonel commie and these “conservatives” on this site so fond of Putin can meet him half way and sing the commie anthem.

That’s not The Internationale. The lyrics of the current Russian National Anthem were changed from the Soviet one. It even mentions the word “God” for what it’s worth.

Germany still uses that Nazi-era anthem, just a different verse than the “Deutschland, Deutschland Uber Alles” one.
