Remember, this is a class III range.
Bring full auto if you got it!
HEB had brisket on sale for $1.99 a pound which is a damn good price I bought two big ones and put them in the Freezer. I also bought a small one that I am cooking this week for myself and my brother in law whom is visiting. He and I have a bit of a contest going relative to BBQ. Each time we try to out do each other. It is “kinda a throw down” on who cooks the best brisket and or ribs. To be honest, his “ain’t” bad.
For the shoot I will do Brisket and Chicken, Chile Beans and Rice, and French Bread to “sop” up the brisket juice. If a few people will bring side dishes it would help with things running smoothly. I will bring serving plates, utensils, ice, water and soft drinks. Bring your own beer, I like Shiner Bock Wild Hare Ale!!!
I will miss breakfast as I shall be driving directly to the range and set things up for the meal. Thus I will have more “shooting time.”
Hey MY LIFE, you mentioned improvements to the range i.e.BBQ pits tables etc. What all have they done since we were there last?
MOM, about what time do we want to eat? I figure that after that big breakfast “you-all” will have about 1:30 would be good for lunch? All my “eats” will be cooked and prepared at home and put on ice. I will just need to heat them up and serve. That makes it easy for me.
SEE “YOU-ALL” IN OCTOBER
