FR won't let me post much of the article but its a good read.
When Pat Buchanan starts talking like this something has changed.

God is on Gods side. It is up to us to get right with him and not the other way around.

Interesting question. Can anyone honestly say that the US is on God’s side?

God isn’t on anyone’s “side”. The question is whether we are on God’s side.

Buchanan’s off on this one. He’s getting to sound like Ron Paul.

Sort of a repeat of the Cold War. I remember the USSR calling the west decadent, all the while it was committing mass murder. I wonder which God will approve of more?

“God isnt on anyones side. The question is whether we are on Gods side.”
You are so right.
To: wonkowasright
Already dealt with this on an earlier thread the other day. God isn’t mad at America. He’s not mad at anyone but that doesn’t preclude America standing up to this bully nor does it justify Putin’s aggression.

When you consider that our government is more like the KGB than Russia’s KGB, I think I’ll call you on the “Nothing has changed” call.

From God’s mouth to Putin’s ear. Riiiiiight.
To: wonkowasright
Western leadership has for the most part rejected God. The question about Putin is whether he is hypocritical.
To: blackdog
Call me out. Putin has no interest PERSONALLY with Jesus Christ. Call me out on that. We all KNOW obama has no personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
If I want Pat Buchanans opinion, I guess I should just ask YOU.
