Well, I may be a bit harder on illegals than some-I’m of Hispanic ancestry with a helping of native American, and my family has been ranching/living in what is now south/west Texas for about 250 years-yes, I do speak Spanish, learned at home as a child as my second language. I think you’ll find most natives of Hispanic ancestry feel the same as I do about illegals.
I’ve heard/overheard more than one female illegal say the reason she took the risk to get here with or without a husband was to get the goodies when her kid was born here. I realize there are some brought by parents illegally, but that is a different matter altogether to me-it is not their doing-but if they are under 18, they need to go back with the parents to the country of origin-if they are adults, help them out so they can get in line to be naturalized-but the illegal parents and other family still have to go back, period. I’m snobbish, I guess...
