“Honest” workers apply in their own country for this little thing called a “green card”-a work permit-before they come here. Not to do so is DIShonest, no matter what else that person may be-and the employer who hires them is an even worse lawbreaker...

Yes, I agree. I meant honest in that they are very hard working and not the caricature of drug dealing or theifs. The owner of the temp agency I worked for one Saturday, told me that the owners of that nursery could not get any e else to work those jobs other than those Mexicans. K could believe it, that day we had to load up a big rig with plants and trees mostly by hand. I am in decent shspe..almost passed out at one point. Don’t know if the owners profit margin would allow it, but the pay should be quite a bit higher than $10 per hour, then other locals would do it, I believe.
