I can’t believe the Republicans who say this. Ann Coulter rightfully has been criticized here this weekend but when she says allowing such amnesty would spell the demise or vast weakening of the GOP, there she is correct. In fact, she has a lot of good points setting aside this issue with her recent interview.

If what the open borders crowd was being done upon a predominately non-white people, it would be called “ethnic cleansing” or even “genocide.” They openly cheer the destruction (through various means) of the white majority in this country. They do all this while preaching about “love” and “tolerance” out of the other side of their mouths. They are evil and hate America.
There’s a perverse logic to this as long as the US is a welfare case magnet.
“Act of self love” shouldn’t be confused with patriotism. How dumb and naive for a guy who should know better. It just reeks of elitism, as well, to romanticize breaking the law by the poor uneducated masses who instead of improving their own lives and home country take the low road and break in.
Jeb Bush is saying that many illegal aliens are coming here to provide a better life for their children. It’s true that given birthright citizenship, it is in the self interest of Mexicans to come here illegally and then have children. If I were Mexican maybe I’d do the same. Hmm, maybe birthright citizenship, created to give former slaves the rights of citizenship, should be curtailed.
But if people coming to the U.S. are just acting in their own interests, why can’t American citizens act in their own interests and secure the borders? Aren’t American politicians suppose to represent American citizens?
