Perhaps you should more clearly elaborate (without name-calling) on your point that these sailors were akin to those on the Mayflower.

I'll have to relearn history. I don't recall knowing the Mayflower sailed the Pacific high seas with just two adults and two little ankle biters to share the 24/7 ship's duties.
I always thought there were about 100 passengers and 25 crew members when the Mayflower crossed the Atlantic.
