Frankly I think the regime pulled the same blackmail crap on Petraeus that they pulled on Roberts. They had the goods on both--Petraeus and his girlfriends and Roberts smuggling his kids into the US. The regime used what they had to get their way. And they did. With Roberts they got obamacare as a tax and with Petraeus/Benghazi he lied his ass off and so did everyone else on their side with the truth never coming out. Slick operators as usual.Big question still to be asked where was zero when the s_it hit the fan in Benghazi.

I think that you are dead on with the black mail ability of the regime as regards Petraeus and Roberts. And the probability that the same method is used to control a huge number of other govt employees in high positions, and low for that matter. What really boils me is that Roberts and Petraeus, who were held in high regard and respected by many Americans, did not resign rather than submit to the blackmailers. I think that members of congress should retire, resign, or face the music if they are conditioning their voting on their personal situations. Of course I realize that we would end up with a skeletal work force in DC but that would be a plus to replace the feather bedding that is currently swelling the tax payer funded govt payroll.
