A federal judge on Friday dismissed a lawsuit against Obama administration officials for the 2011 drone-strike killings in Yemen of three U.S. citizens, including an al-Qaeda cleric.
U.S. District Judge Rosemary Collyer said the case raises serious constitutional issues and is not easy to answer, but that on these facts and under this circuits precedent, the court will grant the Obama administrations request.

They weren’t Americans, they were enemy combatants.
Plus, they were out of uniform too. F them.
Constitutionalists, republicans, the Tea Party, Vets, Pro life folks, Christians, we have all been labeled as enemies by the regime. He has had harsher words for us than al queda and the tollybon.
I see your point. It is just that I was thinking only of terrorists, but he could start droning the rest of us too. I would not be surprised if he did.
Exactly. The precedent has already been set with Waco.
Yes, and on a smaller scale, Ruby Ridge. I was utterly appalled by Waco, and I was appalled by the number of people who approved of it. If they were willing to do that to the people in Waco, I believe they are willing to kill millions in a door to door gun grab. I am sure they are planning it. I just wonder when.
Even worse was the congressional investigation wherein the ATF got off by claiming that there was polygamy/child-abuse/child-molestation going on there, as if these accusations (which weren't listed on any warrant) nullified the rights of due-process for those individuals.
The tests were a success.

Waco: New Revelations
yeah, I can just see it now.
BTW the FBI sniper that shot Mrs Weaver in the head while she was holding her infant daughter also had a significant role at Waco.
I did not know that. I still remember his name. The most unfortunate thing, is that he was a graduate of West Point. Stand by for Freep mail.
President Hussein 0bunghole did good here wasting these jihadis. About the only thing I like that he did
You take up arms against your country, you deserve to die.
Good kill.
And the German-Americans that returned to Germany to fight us...all good kills as well.

There were a few lone holdouts (myself included), who thought it was extraordinarily dangerous, given the fact that we might “one day” elect a tyrant.
For the record, I don't think it was an intentional miscalculation.
Yep.
Was there any proof, besides what the administration claimed, that these muzzies were combatants? Were they actually engaged in combat or offensive operations against the USA or its citizens when killed?
The Germans wore uniforms, were killed in combat...big difference there vs. an American muzzie walking around in some foreign sand pit getting whacked by a robot just because someone gave an order.
Remember the Constitution? Sliding down a very slippery slope here, like another posited...how long before Tea Partiers, and the like are deemed terrorists or enemy combatants by our overlords and whacked with extreme prejudice on the orders of some faceless, nameless bureaucrat?
No thank you...the government should absolutely be held accountable for this, regardless of what I personally think of stinkin’ islamists...rule of law...it applies to all AMERICANS equally.
Was there any proof against Al-Alwaki?...lol, try to keep up.
He was a proven terrorist fighting against the US.
A combatant fighting against the US in a foreign land, is a combatant and a US citizen.
There was nothing unlawful nor immoral done by killing him.
