Onyx's husband (DrO) is now in the hospital with heart problems and other serious health issues. Prayer support would be greatly appreciated.

What a warrior you are, Onyx! Continuing to pray for Dr. O and on Wednesday, it will be a full day of prayer. God bless you as well. Hope you are taking care of yourself.

I’m so scared now and I must ask you to please, please pray on Wednesday morning for sure .... Tuesday night, (tomorrow night) might even be better.
DrO must undergo the colon cancer surgery Wednesday morning or never. He’s not in premiere shape for the surgery, but “it is what it is,” and he’s in much better shape than he was when I called it off at the final minute last Thursday!
Our primary doctor whom I trust with my life, and now his, said he has a good chance of getting well, provided he comes out of this surgery and he told me he has about an eighty percent chance, which I think sounds about right.
I won’t come back home to use my computer once I leave for the hospital tomorrow morning. I know I just won’t want to, but I will call penelopesire as soon as I know anything. She has been my rock. I’ll likely call DJ and RedMDer too.
RedMDer knows first hand the overwhelming onslaught of everything and that all this is not about us, and that we are the ones who must stay strong, so please don’t worry about me. I’m holding up A-OKay. I’m doing my level best to not let my mind wander into darkness because, like I know DrO wants me to do, I am trusting in God, his doctors and I’m keeping a positive outlook.
Sometimes I wish I weren’t alone, but others times, I’m glad I am. It’s been just DrO and me for a good many years here and I think that’s likely how this is supposed to be...

You know you can call anytime. My church group is praying.
