I think, upon cursory analysis, that the parallax analysis is faulty. The tree lights are a potential issue, but in general there are no glaringly obvious “artifacts”.

This is one thing that never seemed strange to me, actually. Africans are very class-conscious, and the suit is an important social marker. It would take a lot to make someone like BHOI want to dress down.

Something is clearly amiss with this picture.... look at the size of the fingers on BO’s left hand.... and the size of the left hand above BO’s left shoulder. And does he already have a wedding ring on his finger?

I’m not so sure about that. Stan had a lot of hair, and the photo quality is so poo, I can’t really tell if that’s Sr.’s suit-coated arm, or Stan’s hair. Easy for the top of her sleeve to slip down a bit to look like her shoulder is lower than it really is.
Is there a better copy of that pic?
