OMG, another boycott. I have no life unless there’s something to boycott, yippee!

Agreed. There is so much 'boycott' talk these days, that it loses its effectiveness.

There have been some updates on the Palemoon website regarding whether or not they're associated with Mozilla. Check it out.

Me: At the bottom of your website homepage it says “powered by Mozilla.” Wouldn’t that make Palemoon a Mozilla program by default?

Pale Moon: No. It means exactly what it says: it is powered by Mozilla code. That does not automatically mean the end result is a Mozilla program as it is not developed, published or marketed by Mozilla. The Mozilla code developers (many of them unpaid community coders) who have worked on this Mozilla code over the years and made the gecko engine what it is today -- a community effort -- deserve all the credit where it is due.

Me: Good. I'm glad to hear it. I migrated away from Firefox today and I'm happy to hear that you're not affiliated with them. Lots of previous Firefox users will be happy as well. A donation will on its way shortly. Thank you my friend.

Grammar Czar: I just have to wonder why you felt it necessary to interject your own politics into this whole thing...that you disagree with the ex-ceo's position. Can't we do ANYTHING that doesn't involve politics these days?

Me: Hey Grammar, I agree. I wish politics wasn't being injected. But when the homosexual lobby has the power to demand the resignation of someone like Mr. Eich, and GET AWAY WITH IT, and only because he donated $1,000 of his PERSONAL MONEY towards a cause ...See More

Pale Moon: Say, Grammar Czar , I was very clear that those are my (the developer's) personal views. That isn't "interjecting politics", it is making a statement that I neither agree with oppression of people's rights, nor agree with oppression of freedom of personal views. Understand that I'm not taking sides in this debate/debacle, and felt it was prudent to let people know that my clear dissociation with the Mozilla Corp should NOT be taken as "silently agreeing to the other party's arguments". If it makes you feel better I will make it a personal blog entry, instead
