Soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines should be allowed to carry loaded weapons anywhere on a military installation and at anytime.
...anywhere, anytime, anywhere, not just military base. We train the hell out of most of these folks. They are proficient in the use of firearms and tactics (most). In an active shooter situation, who would you rather have on scene to address the issue, 5 armed local LEO, or 5 armed soldiers?
I'll take soldiers all day.
