Prosecutors won't charge janitor, say he killed teens in self defense

Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm announced Wednesday that Jeremy Rossetto will not be charged in connection with the March 12 shooting death of two teens who were hitting him with a souvenir baseball bat.

The district attorney's office reviewed the police investigation, interviewed witnesses and viewed witness cellphone video before concluding that Rossetto shot the teens in self defense.

Three non-Amish, two teens and a 20 year old, attacked, held and beat up a 39 year old maintenance worker. One used a small bat. He feared death, so he pulled out a .40 cal pistol and killed Anmarie Miller, 17, and James Bell Jr., 19, both of Milwaukee, WI. Our D.A. had him arrested, jailed 4 days and didn't rule it to be self defense until 3 weeks later, despite full surveillance video of the event. The shooter had a valid WI CCW permit. Get CCW insurance to cover lawyers fees and other liability if you carry.

Again, they’re described as “teens” to avoid any hint of racism. If they were white, that would be the first label applied to them.

The pretty girl was 17 years old... with 2 kids... one of them by Mr Bell, 19, also pictured there.

"Just want to know some answer," says David Guerro, Miller's cousin. "Really sad, 17 years old, a bright future."

Um, David? The answer would likely include something about helping beat a man with a baseball bat rather than being at home with her two (presumably) young children. That might also likely go towards revising your "bright future" assessment.
