I want Allen West to run. But fwiw, If your challenge is that Romney never said that he wanted illegals gone, then you are wrong there also. I don’t trust his word but he did campaign on the issue and in debates constantly said that he wanted to make it illegal for companies to hire them and the theory was that they would self deport. These are simply facts.
I’m glad to see you’re for Allen West but sorry, anyone who imagines Romney is better than Cruz ends up suspect in my book.
Remember your original statement in post #103 to which I responded. You asked between Cruz and Romney, “Which is the better of the two?” Do you actually believe that lying socialist Romney is better?
I must admit, you are way more fortunate than most of us here in Florida. You say you “saw” Romney campaign. When Willard came here, the only person he campaigned against was Newt Gingrich. After the republican nomination, he spent his time calling Obama his friend while kissing up to all the hispanic groups he could find. Telling conservatives in this state we need to change. Any common sense talk about dealing with the illegal invasion went right out the window. In other words, he did a great job of suppressing the conservative vote with his non-campaign. Maybe you didn’t get to see any of that, but I got to see it up close and personal. As much as I hate Obama, Romney made me sick.
You can never determine what Romney supports by what comes out of his mouth. You have to watch what he does. He may have said he wanted employers punished, but by his own actions, he condones them hiring illegals. So I would put zero stock in anything he “said” in a debate.
You can say all you want about Cruz. Romney is a socialist lib, a total non starter. Cruz is not a socialist. That makes him better than Romney any day of the week.
You do seem more conversant about Cruz than you are about Romney. Oh and I don’t bet, period. Bets with prevaricators are time wasting, foolish endeavors.
