April Fool!
The government media has reached a new low. I didn’t think it was possible, but they are plumbing new depths of depravity with this ridiculous Obamacare coverage.
7 million....voila!
Just like unemployment dipping below 7% just before the election.
Sadly in a nation of low information voters, the sheeple will believe this nonsense.
All the lies in the world can’t continue to cover up the stench of Obamacare as it rots our country from the inside. The media will continue to cover for Obama(care) until they can’t because too many people will have been personally & negatively affected .... it won’t happen soon, but eventually the truth will out and it won’t be pretty.
Can we find out how many of the 7 Million have paid in two months? I know an unemployed guy who just signed up for $50 per month. He is always out of money, can’t keep a job, and is a train wreck. There is no way in hell this guy still has insurance in 2 months.
We know this is a lie, because if they WERE on track to hit 7M, they would be claiming 10M.
OPTICS & NARRATIVE. that’s all it is.
Strange how these stats mirror the rosy change in unemployment stats just before the election...
AP’s Word For Today’s System Crash at HealthCare.gov: ‘Stumble’
By Tom Blumer | March 31, 2014
The Obamacare-loving press spares no effort in excusing and minimizing the scheme’s operational, systemic, and law-based failures.
Six months after launch, HealthCare.gov still isn’t functioning as intended. In fact, as of 8:47 a.m. this morning, the time stamp on an Associated Press report (also saved here for future reference, fair use and discussion purposes) by chief wire service Obamacare defender Ricardo Alonso-Zaldivar, the web site wasn’t functioning at all. Did the AP reporter tell readers the system had crashed, or was down? Oh heck no (bolds are mine):

Looks like AP is posting April Fools jokes all over the place today.

#Obama will have lunch in the private dining room tomorrow with @NancyPelosi, the White House says
Complete Heathcare chaos to sign up 7 million. 50 million will now lose their insurance. What a crock!
- How many people have lost their doctor because of Obamacare (remember, "if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor - period!").
- How many people lost healthcare because of Obamacare?
- How many of those were newly eligible for and enrolled in Medicaid?
- How many of the remaining have enrolled in Obamacare?
- How many have paid?
- What are the demographics of those who have enrolled in Medicaid and Obamacare?
- How many are eligible for a subsidy?
- What is the total amount of subsidies?
- What is the total amount to be paid by paying customers?
- How many people were uninsured before Obamacare?
- How many of those were newly eligible for and enrolled in Medicaid?
- How many of the remaining have enrolled in Obamacare?
- How many have paid?
- What are the demographics of those who have enrolled in Medicaid and Obamacare?
- How many are eligible for a subsidy?
- What is the total amount of subsidies?
- What is the total amount to be paid by paying customers?
Answers to these questions will provide answers to the following:
- How many are still uninsured (this was the purpose of Obamacare)?
- What is the average cost of Obamacare versus the cost before (this was also a major selling point)?
- What will be the total cost of subsidies?
- How much of the subsidies will be covered by poremiums from paying customers?
- Where will the money for any deficit come from?
- What is the average deductible versus before (another major selling point was that people were just an illness away from bankruptcy - that may not have changed and, in fact, may be a greater risk now because of the high deductibles)?
Some simple questions. How about some straight-forward, no-spin answers???
7M sign ups probably reflects the actual number of legit, breathing dem voters who supported Obama in 2008/2012.
In addition to the normally cited issues with the White Houses numerical claims, is another: they have not filtered out duplicates. EVERY person I know who has signed up for the program has at least two applications out there. One has at least six.
The cause for this appears to be two-fold: some people got all the way to the selection process, selected a plan, and then the system forgot who they were (but did recognize the initial ID was in use), and their credentials. The second variant was when the process was working “better”, and they reached an impass (including plan change, altering the number of dependents, etc.)and called in to the help center for assistance where after being passed around for several days they were advised to start a whole new application.
who didn’t see this propaganda BS coming
The pathetic rollout of obamacare was fun to make fun of, but was never one of the main reasons to oppose this awful law. The MSM and democrats want to point at these enrollment numbers as a refutation of those who opposed the bill. I expect that they will be successful in swaying a good portion of the brain dead American electorate.
