All people are not racist.
Some are unable to detect more than one race (humanity) and intermarry willy nilly with a broad melting pot of a family. They often attend churches full of like perspective families.

You may not be one of those.
They may be a small minority.
But they do exist.

I think of myself as more of a Culturist. Yes, not all cultures are equal...But you can choose your culture, you don’t choose your race.

We can agree to disagree. I will confess that I believe some people are less racist than others. Some much less so. But I believe it’s hard wired into our survival “instinct”.

If for no other reason than we must contemplate if someone of a different race that we just met is racist against us, just entertaining the thought for even an instant makes one racist to some degree.

I attended such a church when I lived in Seattle. The racism was there, but not overt and not obvious. People are people no matter where they are. And one of my favorite quotes is, “times change, but people don’t”. The bible certainly comes at us from that paradigm.
