I don’t know what it takes to prove sodomy in these countries. But getting caught in flagrante delicto would certainly qualify, I have to believe. In that case, there is nothing “witch hunt” about it and the penalty should be swift and certain.

In the case of a mere accusation of homosexualty against a particular individual, I would hope the standard rules of evidence and burden of proof prevail, and that exoneration would clear the defendant’s name.

Well they’ve gone to the point that “knowing” about it (not specified what counts as knowing) and not saying anything is also considered a crime. That’s going to put a big crimp in already embattled Christian recovery ministries.
