One of my brothers was a POW at Stalag III and Stalag 17 including the Death March in Jan 45. When he died 3 or 4 years ago he still have vivid and total recall of every detail. Thanks for the ping...
Yer post keeps my keel even...things might be tough nowadays, but I’m not even a piker in comparison.
I do, however, have the fortune of having a Hero of your brother’s stature in my small fold of friends, and I value him highly.
