Maybe Camp David should be simultaneously retired.

Was a good congressman. Turned into an entrenched DC politico to get power. Interesting to see so much of the current leadership stepping aside.

Camp said in a statement that his decision "was reached after much consideration and discussion with my family. Translation: "The extreme, far, far right-wing wackos are in control the party, waaah! We need more Republicans willing to reach across the aisle and compromise with our fellow Democrats."
To: Paladin2
Well, you almost took the words out of my mouth. I was wondering if he was going to retire to Camp David.

My congressman. Started out good. Went sour quickly. Won’t miss him a bit.

Hmmm...first Rogers, now Camp. Something’s going on that we’re not hearing about.

Definitely something unusual going on in Washington. Its pretty unlikely that the GOP will lose the house so those committee appointments will go to republicans.
Now the question is which republicans.

Looks like a lot of the “lifers” are calling it quits after many of us have decried them belonging to the elitist oligarchy! (Republican or Demoncrat)

Boehner’s losing all his committee chair minions. They’ll probably shove something disastrous through before they all go!

No wonder why he kept voting for the debt ceiling.
He doesn't have to worry about Peter Konetchy.

What’s amazing is that most Ways & Means Committee Chairs tend to exit Congress feet-first. Way too much power to surrender voluntarily.

It hasn’t gone Democrat since 1982. Bill Schuette, now the State AG, held it before Dave Camp.

I see the great Sam Johnson of Texas is next in line.
