Thanks for that ... very funny ... although, didn’t he visit ‘all 57 states ... 1 to go ... and 2(Alaska & Hawaii) that he wasn’t allowed to visit’ ... that would make a nice round number of 120 Senators!
I’ve always counted his statement as 60 states, but it is always described as “57” even here, and I didn’t think as many would get it if I said 120 Senators, since it looks too much like a natural mistake on my part.
“It is wonderful to be back in Oregon. Over the last 15 months, we’ve traveled to every corner of the United States. I’ve now been in 57 states? I think one left to go. Alaska and Hawaii, I was not allowed to go to even though I really wanted to visit, but my staff would not justify it.”
